For families, no parental involvement is required for ages 5 & up. Treehouse Shakers has arts in education classes in Dance, Writing, Acting, Creative Drama, Dance-Story, Storytelling, Folktale & Fairytale, Guitar and African Drumming. Our arts in education programs encourage young people to think, learn, and truly be engaged through the discipline, innovation, and creativity of the arts. Schools and families will truly enjoy the skills their students receive, and Treehouse Shakers’ extraordinary teaching artists create a rich and rewarding experience for students and teachers alike.

Treehouse Shakers offers award-winning arts in education residencies, with outstanding teaching artists, that serve ages preschool to college. Our programs can be tailored to fit your specific curriculum needs, from one hour of learning to the entire school year. We have programs in Dance, Storytelling, Creative Drama, Writing, African Drumming and so much more. Classroom On Demand
Dance Break is Treehouse Shakers’ innovative series that can be used in the classroom or at the theater, to get yourself, students, or families up and dancing! Each episode correlates to a Treehouse Shakers’ original performance, or to a specific dance genre.
